What is the Residence Permit?

Types of Residence Permits
The types of residence permit are as follows:
In accordance with the Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection dated 4/4/2013, the residence permits of foreigners have been determined as a residence permit in one type.
Types of Residence Permits
According to the Foreigners and International Protection Law No. 6458 dated 04/04/2013, the residence permits of foreigners are determined as a residence permit for tourism purposes.
Residence Permit for Work
As it is known, Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection was published in the Official Gazette dated 11.04.2013 and provisions of the Law were put into force on 11.04.2014, one year after the publication. Article 27 of the Law titled 27 The work permit shall be considered as residence permit Söz; It is envisaged that the valid work permits will be counted as a residence permit, and the foreigners who are granted work permits will be charged a residence permit fee until the duration of the work permit according to the Fees Act.
Types of Residence Permits
ARTICLE 30 – (1) The types of residence permit are as follows;
a) Short term residence permit
b) Family residence permit
c) Student residence permit
ç) Long-term residence permit
d) Humanitarian residence permit
e) A residence permit for victims of trafficking
Short Term Residence Permit
ARTICLE 31 – (1) The following foreigners may be granted a short term residence permit
a) They will come for scientific research
b) immovable property located in Turkey
c) Establishment of a business or business
ç) Participation in in-service training programs
d) agreements of the Republic of Turkey or future educational or similar purposes in the framework of student exchange programs.
e) Tourism
f) They will be treated on condition that they do not carry one of the diseases that are considered as a threat to public health.
